Mr. Tommy David Wynn, age 52, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas following a brief illness. He was born October 13, 1958 in Villa Rica, Georgia, the son of the late Mrs. Clara Glenn Wynn and Mr. Howard W. Wynn of Carrollton. Mr. Wynn worked for Wal-Mart Private Fleet for eighteen years as a Truck Driver, and his handle was âCool Breezeâ. He loved golf, fishing, and took pride in his home and family. Gina and Tommy loved their four legged children, including Scooby who runs the home. He was preceded in death by his mother, Clara Glenn Wynn on July 19, 2008; and his brother, Charles Wesley Wynn on July 16, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Gina Downing Wynn of Douglas; daughter, Katy Wynn of Athens; son, Brad Wynn of Douglas; his beloved father, Howard W. Wynn of Carrollton; two sisters, Carolyn Wynn Doggett and her husband, Larry of Ranburne, AL and Helen Wynn Ward of Carrollton; sister-in-law, Dana Jones Wynn of Villa Rica; brothers-in-law, Joel Downing of Douglasville, Ronny Downing of Kennesaw, Donny Downing of Acworth, Sam Downing of Austell; one grandson, Logan Wynn; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. A Celebration of Life will be conducted Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Dean Larry Lewis officiating. And his sister, Carolyn Wynn Doggett will provide the eulogy. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel Saturday, March 19, 2011 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family has asked contributions to be made to the American Cancer Society, 1599 Clifton Road, Atlanta, Georgia 30329.
