Tony Shane Hollis Sr., 44, of Carrollton passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023 at 9:30 AM at Grady Memorial Hospital. Shane was known by his family and friends as a kind, loving friend to anyone he met.
Those left to cherish his memory are his stepfather and mother Charles and Sandra Emory of Carrollton; father Manuel Angel of Medina, Ohio; future wife, Ella Hall of Carrollton; sister and brother-in-law, Tonya and Larry Holden; brothers, Jerry Scott, and Jose Angel all of Carrollton, brother and sister-in-law, Fernando and Shannan Angel of Fort Mitchell, Alabama; children, Brianna and Josh Morgan of Carrollton, Tony Shane Hollis, Jr. of Carrollton, Skylar Hollis of Winston; grandsons, Elias, Tatum, Noah, and Scott Morgan; aunt, Brenda Jaime of Waycross; cousins, Tammy, Dana, Carlos, Johnathon, and Stephanie; nieces, Alaina, Hayley, Cheyenne, Kelli, and Emily; nephews, Dakota, Ethan, Landon, and Trenton. A host of second cousins and friends at One Church in Buchanan.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 12:00 PM at One Church in Buchanan with Pastor Gene Fields officiating. Mr. Hollis will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.
