Tracy Allan Blankenship, 43, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at Tranquility Hospice in Austell. Mr. Blankenship was born February 24, 1965 in Tupelo, Mississippi the son of the late W.E. Blankenship, Jr. and Linda Willis Blankenship. Mr. Blankenship was a veteran of the United States Army and was employed as an I.T. Tech for Dixie Staffing Services in Douglasville. Mr. Blankenship was a member of North Metro Church in Kennesaw and was a loving son, husband and father, brother, and friend to many. He enjoyed hunting, music, reading, politics, computers and spending time with his family. Survivors include his devoted wife, Tracy Blankenship; children, Joshua Allan Blankenship, and Jordan Michael Blankenship, both of Douglasville, and Alexis Nicole Obermeyer of Powder Springs; mother, Linda Willis Blankenship of Bean Station, Tennessee; sisters and brothers in-law, Kim and Bill Leseman of Kennesaw, and Sheri and Greg Fuller of Starkville, Mississippi; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, April 20, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Pastor Rick Everswick officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Saturday, April 19, 2008 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
