Troy Woods

Mr. Troy Harold Woods, 69, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at his residence. He was born September 29, 1946 in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. Harold Eugene Woods and the late Mrs. Lavonia Henson Woods Ellis. He worked as a greeter at Walmart and was a member of Fairhaven Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Marie Weaver Woods of Douglasville; daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Douglas Smith of Carrollton; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and James Brock of Lithia Springs; step sister, Gail Woods of Phenix City, AL; step brothers, Gary Woods of South GA and Leroy Woods of Houston, Texas; one granddaughter, Jessica Brittaney Harris of Douglasville; step granddaughter, Tommie Harris of Douglasville; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Friday, August 5, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Fairhaven Baptist Church, 6349 Cooper Street, Douglasville, GA 30134 with Brother James Biddy and Brother Randy Stephens officiating.
