Vernon Hall Sr.

Mr. Vernon Charles Hall, Sr., 87, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, July 17, 2017. He was born May 17, 1930 in Kellogg, Minnesota the son of the late Mr. Homer Floyd Hall and the late Mrs. Fern Leone Curtis Hall. He married Beverly Joan Monk on September 3, 1954. He retired from the United States Navy following 21 years of service that included the Korean and Vietnam Wars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Lee Hall and four brothers. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Beverly Joan Monk Hall of Douglasville; five children and their spouses, Vernon Hall, Jr. and his wife, Gale of Douglasville, Bunny Jo Thompson of Anniston, AL, Brian Dale Hall and his wife, Patty of San Antonio, TX, Tambra Lynn Sammons and her husband, Bill of Iowa, and David Kevin Hall and his wife, Missy of Bath, Maine; brother, Norman Hall of Minnesota; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
