Vernon Ray Mulkey

Mr. Vernon Ray Mulkey, age 76 of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Sunday January 10, 2021. He was born May 18, 1944 in Dothan, Alabama, the son of the late Mr. Thad Mulkey and the late Mrs. Edna Mulkey Webb. Mr. Mulkey loved to fish and be on the water. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Dennis Mulkey. Mr. Mulkey is survived by his wife, Cara Huber Mulkey of Lithia Springs, Georgia; his daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Richie Holley of Sharpsburg, Georgia; his son, Roy Mulkey of Knoxville, Tennessee; and seven grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville Sunday, January 31, 2021 from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM. Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 2:00 PM from Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jim Grieme officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
