Miss Veronica Jacinda Laurien Cox, 20, of Bremen, Georgia passed away Sunday, February 11, 2007 at the Atlanta Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia from injuries sustained in an automobile accident that occurred December 12, 2006. She was born December 30, 1986, the daughter of Mrs. Laura R. Watson Cox Wilson and the late Mr. James Edward Cox. Miss Cox was a member of Gateway Baptist Church in Villa Rica, Georgia. She was a 2005 honors graduate of Haralson County High School where she was a member of the Beta Club, she was a drum major for the band and was Principleâs Pick. Miss Cox was attending Georgia Highlands College as a full-time student and worked for Kimbell Shell in Buchanan. Miss Cox was preceded in death by her father, Mr. James Edward Cox; her sister, Miss Catherine Briana Cox and her grandparents, Cecil Eugene Watson and Johnny Cox. Survivors include her parents, Mrs. Laura R. Wilson and Mr. Don Wilson of Bremen; her brother, James Chadwick Cox of Bremen; her paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Ellen Wilson of Temple and Robert and Ruth Thorne of Bremen; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at 11:00AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Georgia with Rev. Jeff Boyd and Rev. Larry Argo officiating. Interment will follow in the Private Estates at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens on Hickory Level Road in Villa Rica, Georgia.
