Vicki Jones

Mrs. Vickie Lynn McMillian Jones, age 55, of Stockbridge, passed away, Monday, September 22, 2014. She was born December 31, 1958 the daughter of the late Mr. Charlie McMillian and the late Mrs. Nellie Maude McMillian. She was a Managing Real Estate Broker for McMillian Realty Company for many years. She received her JD Law degree from Woodrow Wilson School of Law. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Morrow Chapter 531 “OES” and the South Fulton Shrinettes. She loved to cook and bake. She is survived by her husband, William Joseph Jones of Stockbridge; daughter and son-in-law, Andrea Ann and Luis Angel Centeno of Orlando, FL; mother-in-law and step-father-in-law, Martha Ann and Edward Swann of Temple; father-in-law and step-mother-in-law, Jimmy and Joyce Jones of Douglasville; one grandchild, Kayden Angel Centeno of Orlando, FL; sister-in-law, Cindy and Marty Woody of Acworth; step-brothers-in-law, Mark Doss, Carson Doss and Brantly Doss all of Douglasville; Aunts, Carol Jane Wetherington of Cartersville, Christine Clark of Macon; niece, Lindsey and Chris Blackwell of Kennesaw; great nephew, Jude Blackwell of Kennesaw; cousins, Ann and Neal Clements of Tifton, Kay McMillian and Shirley McMillian both of Adel. Several cousins and family members survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 2:00 Pm until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, September 26, 2014 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Linda May officiating. Eulogy provided by Rev. J. D. Sosobee.
