Mrs. Virginia Lucille Roberts Boles, age 82, of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2009 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Georgia. She was born June 3, 1927 in Paulding County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Walter Roberts and the late Mrs. Victoria Pickett Roberts. Mrs. Boles worked as a department secretary for 35 years at Lockheed. She enjoyed painting and poetry. Mrs. Boles was of the Baptist faith and she attended Fullerville Baptist Church in Villa Rica and was a member of New Georgia Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Boles was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Lavern Boles. Survivors include her daughter, Diana Boles Perkins of Grand Prairie, Texas; her son and daughter-in-law, David and Kathy Boles of Villa Rica; her sister, Ethel Hicks of Jasper; grandchildren, Danielle Boles, Blake Boles and Chet Perkins; great-grandchildren, Brooke Perkins and Austin Perkins, and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 1:00PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Revs. Horace Wilson and Charles Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Melrose Hills Memorial Park in Paulding County, Georgia. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica on Monday, December 21, 2009 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
