Virginia Mae McCaffrey Brown

Mrs. Virginia Mae McCaffrey Brown, 83, of Douglasville, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2005 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice Center in Austell, Georgia. Mrs. Brown was born May 3, 1922 in Munice, IN the daughter of the late Mr. Charles Sherman McCaffrey and the late Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Cory McCaffrey. She was of the Methodist faith. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Peter J. Brown and daughter, Judy Graul. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Jeannie and Jerry Shelton of Douglasville, Sharon and Ron Demas of Wilmington, NC, Vicki and Joe Halstead of Farmland, IN; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Myra Oliver of Redkey, IN; sister, Wilma McClunny of Yorktown, IN; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 28, 2005 at 2:00 PM from Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Neal officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica. The family will receive friends Monday, November 28, 2005 at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Tranquility Hospice Center in Austell, 4040 West Hospital Drive, Austell, GA 30106.
