Virginia Pennington

Mrs. Virginia Louise Galloway Pennington, age 74, of Temple, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012 at her residence. She was born May 4, 1938 in Raeburn County, GA the daughter of the late Mr. Vess Galloway, Sr. and the late Mrs. Margaret Louise Atkins Galloway. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Pennington was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was of the Baptist Faith.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, E.C. Pennington on June 1, 2010. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Linda and Elliot Sumner of Morganton, NC, Joyce Lynch of Port St. Lucie, FL.; sons, Virgil Wayne and Donna Johnson of Lilburn, Eddie Carl Pennington of Temple, Michael Lee and Mitzi Pennington of Temple; sisters, Helen Presley, Shirley Chambers, Betty Jean Lance; brothers, Bud Vess Galloway, Jr., Bill Galloway, Randy Galloway; eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial Services will be conducted Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 12:00 PM from Freedom Missionary Baptist Church in Temple with Rev.
