Virginia Wylie

Mrs. Flora Virginia McMahon Wylie age 92 of Villa Rica, GA formerly of Walnut Circle, Marietta, GA passed away, Tuesday, March 13, 2018. She was born, May 28, 1925 in Monongahlea, PA the daughter of the late Charles William McMahon and the late Mrs. Flora Frye McMahon. She married Robert Vincent Wylie on April 28, 1948. She was a member of the Smyrna Presbyterian Church where she was also a member of the Builders Sunday School Class and the 2nd Circle Bible. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #387 where she was a Past Matron; she was also a Past Mother Advisor of Smyrna #45 Rainbow Girls, Past Worthy High Priestess of White Shrine of Jerusalem-Georgia #1. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother, great-great grandmother and a friend to all. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Howard McMahon and Charles McMahon and Sisters, Louise Krajewski and an infant sister. Survivors include her husband of 69 years Robert Vincent Wylie, Sr. of Villa Rica, formerly of Marietta, daughters and sons in law, Irene and John Scarry of Woodstock, Darlene and Charles McCravy of Douglasville and Helen and Gus Henriques of Villa Rica, son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Shawna Wylie of Greensboro, GA, sister, Joan Fielder of Pittsburg, PA, brother, Herb McMahon of Philadelphia, PA, 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Gus Henriques officiating. Interment to follow at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to March of Dimes Foundation, P.O.
