Vista Allene Mann Wisener

Mrs. Allene Wisener, age 76, of Tallapoosa, Georgia, formerly of Temple, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2009 at her residence. She was born October 27, 1932 in Jonesboro, Georgia to the late Mr. George Elijah Mann and the late Mrs. Alena Isabell Bush Mann. Mrs. Wisener was devoted to her family and was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great-grandmother. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Wisener is preceded in death by her husband Mr. James Wisener; a son, Sammy Bassett; a brother, Samual Mann; two sisters, Mallie George and Eva Mann. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Carol Harvey of Tallapoosa, Pat Walker of Temple, Lynn & John Miller of Cedartown, and Donna & Butch Puckett of North Carolina; sons and daughter-in-law George Bassett and Ricky & Becky Bassett all of Temple, and David Wisener of Florida; brothers Ames Mann of Griffin, and Wesley Mann of Sparksburg; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 1:00PM at the Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Butch Puckett and Rev. Joseph Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Villa Rica. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Friday, October 16, 2009, from 6:00PM until 9:00PM.
