Miss Vivian Joycelyn Williamson, 85, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Friday, December 1, 2017. She was born June 5, 1932 in Atlanta, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Delmas Adolphus Williamson and the late Mrs. Nellie Grace Cook Williamson. She was a member of Colonial Hills Baptist Church. She began her teaching career at Graystone Christian School in Mobile, Alabama. She left teaching and joined the mission field in France where she worked for six years. Following her missions work, she returned to teaching at Colonial Hills Christian School until she retired. She is survived by two sisters, Lynelle Tiedman of Douglasville and Anita Jordan of Mooresville, NC; several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside Services will be conducted Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Greenwood Cemetery in Atlanta with Mr. Mark Jordan, Dr. Paul Jordan and Rev. Tony Carter officiating.
