Wade Pugh, 69, of Atlanta, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024. He was born on August 23, 1954, the son of the late Allard Pugh and the late Annie Lucinda Beiser Pugh.

It was evident that he possessed a vibrant spirit and a kind heart. After proudly serving in the US Army for six years, Wade went on to work as an electrician for Georgia State University. Outside of his professional life, Wade had a variety of interests that brought him joy. He found joy in fishing, playing cards, and working on cars.

He is best described as the life of the party, Wade had a magnetic personality that drew people towards him. His love for his family, especially his grandnieces and grandnephews, knew no bounds. Wade took great joy in their company and always made time to create lasting memories with them. Wade was a sharp dresser with a penchant for tailored suits, Wade's sense of style was a reflection of his attention to detail and appreciation for the finer things in life. Whether he was socializing with friends or enjoying a night out on the town, Wade's presence was sure to light up the room.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Vernell Pugh; sisters, Barbara Jean Pugh Elliot and Veronica Wanda Pugh Clark Butler.

He is survived by his children, Lakisha Pugh, Rogerick Pugh and Marqus Pugh; sisters, Patricia Bennett, Mary Lue Pugh Montgomery, and Latisha Pugh; brother-in-law, Wilford Butler; several nieces and nephews.

As we come to terms with the loss of Wade, let us remember him for the laughter he brought, the love he shared, and the impact he made on all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him. May his memory live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who were touched by his kindness.

In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated. There are no further arrangements at this time.
