Waldo Earl Moore Jr., 74, formerly of Villa Rica, died 26th, January, 2020 at Bayfront Health trauma intensive care unit of complications incurred from a fall at his home in St. Petersburg, FL. Mr. Moore will be cremated at Beacon Direct Cremation in Largo, FL with an internment at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica, GA. There will be a private graveside service for Mr. Moore's family and a visitation to follow on Saturday, February 15. Mr. Moore was born on the 2nd of January 1946 in Mattoon, IL to Ruth and Waldo Moore Sr. He earned his undergraduate degree in accounting at Eastern Illinois University and masters of business administration from University of South Florida. Wally, as he was known by his friends and siblings, was an avid gardener and his hobbies included biking, traveling, and sailing. He was known for his enduring love of his family near and far, his adoration for his wife, his willingness to be a good neighbor, and his mischievous demeanor. He enjoyed playing box games and cards late into the evening with his family and watching his grandchildren play sports. Mr. Moore is preceded in death by his parents Waldo and Ruth Moore and his first wife Pilar Moore. He is survived by his second wife and long-time friend Vilai Moore; children William (and Tiffany) Moore of Macon, GA, Patricia (and Allen) Powell of Kennesaw, GA, Gregory (and Erin) Moore of Woodstock, GA; Vilai's children Penny Brown of St. Petersburg, FL, David (and Mandi) Brown of Orlando, FL, and Kathy (and Wil) White of St. Petersburg, FL; grandchildren Ashley Moore (29), Amanda Yi (28), Taylor Moore (26), Anna Moore (25), John Dismukes (25), Kristin Moore (23), Quintin Gilbert (20), Nicholas Powell (12), Hailey Brown (12), Emma Brown (9), Cody White (9); great grandchild Jude Yi (2); siblings Dennis (and Hazel) Moore of Bedford, IN; Alice Etchison of Mattoon, IL; and, Fred (and Barbara) Moore of Bloomington, IL; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
