Mr. Wallace LEE Tyler, 58, of Fawn Lane, Temple, Georgia, formerly of LaGrange, Georgia, passed away Monday, March 20, 2006 at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia following an extended illness. He was born March 3, 1948 in LaGrange, Georgia. Mr. Tyler was the son of the late Wallace Wesley Tyler and the late Lucy Lee Tyler. He retired from Bell South where he worked as a service technician. Mr. Tyler was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam War. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, Mr. Tyler was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Ross Tyler. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jo Burnham Tyler of Temple; his daughters and sons-in-law, Jill and Matthew Perry of Douglasville and Margaret Amanda Ann and Jason Reid of Acworth; sons, James Darren Tyler of Fort Stewart and John Parmer of Douglasville; sister and brother-in-law, Janice Gary Gilmore of Lithia Springs; half-sister and her husband, Mary Tyler and Billy Lane of LaGrange; grandchildren, Lincoln Tyler Reid of Acworth and Natalie Diane Reid of Acworth and Matthew Cameron Perry of Douglasville and many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Wallace Lee Tyler of Temple will be conducted Thursday, March 23, 2006 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglasville, Georgia with Rev. Wayne Bray officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville with Military Honors provided by the Naval Air Station Atlanta. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Ryan Geary, Matt Elliott, Neil Arnold, Johnny Moon, Chris Dalton and Jason Evans. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville Wednesday, March 22, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Messages of condolences to the family may be sent to www.jones-wynn.com.
