Walter Lee Crook

Mr. Walter Lee Crook "Cowboy", age 79, of Carrollton passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024. He was born January 14, 1945 in Winston, GA to the late Mr. Chester Crook and the late Mrs. Myrtis Crook. He was known for his love of golf and gambling. Walter lived a full and vibrant life surrounded by the love of his family. His warm smile and kind heart touched the lives of all who knew him. Walter will be remembered for his generosity, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Emory; brothers, Wayne Crook, Thomas Crook, Jerry Crook, Jimmy Crook; sister, Charlene Butler.

He is survived by his daughter, Terri (Mark) Mctyre of Carrollton, Robin (Jack) Smith of Bremen; sons, Jason (Melissa) Crook of Bremen, Josh Crook of Carrollton; brothers, Larry (Sandra) Crook of Douglasville, Jackie (Jerry) Crook of Cherry Log; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The graveside service will take place at Mozley Memorial Gardens on Friday, March 29, 2024 at 1:00 PM.
