Walter Raymond JohansonMr. Walter Raymond Johanson, age 93, of Villa Rica, passed away, Monday, April 16, 2018. He was born September 4, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late Mrs. Elizabeth Price Johanson. Mr. Johanson served in the United States Navy during WWII. He was Vice President of Brentwood Originals Textile Company for many years. He was a member of the Fairfield Kiwanis Club. He is survived by his wife, Marion T. Donnelly Johanson of Villa Rica; daughter and son-in-law, Denise Johanson Burson and Randy Beckwith of Newnan; son and daughter-in-law, Greg R. and Louise Johanson of Maryland; grandchildren, Julie and Jim Hughie, Scott and Kristin Burson , Wes Burson, Barbara Johanson and Phil Jacobs, and Lisa Johnson; great-grandchildren, Byers Burson, Maddy Grace Burson, Sarah Ann Hughie, Jaden Burson, and Gabriel Ethan Jacobs also survive. According to Mr. Johanson wishes he was cremated. Inurnment will be conducted Monday, April 23, 2018 at 12:30 PM at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA with Mr. Wes Burson officiating.Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
