Mr. Walter S. Bolding, Jr., 72, of Rose Avenue, Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, July 28, 2005 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Atlanta. He was born September 15, 1932 in Pickens County, South Carolina the son of the late Mr. Walter S. Bolding, Sr. and the late Mrs. Jennie Stevens Bolding. He was of the Baptist Faith and he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was an avid fisherman and loved to play golf. He was a humorous man and loved being around children. He was a loving husband and step-father. He is survived by his wife, Lois Worthan Bolding of Douglasville; step-daughter and son-in-law, Patricia K. and Gene Wilson of Roswell; two step-sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Carole Greene of Douglasville and Jimmie and Libby Greene of Carrollton; one brother and sister-in-law, Garland and Nancy Bolding of Otto, NC; 6 step-grandchildren; 9 step-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 30, 2005 at 11:00 AM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. R.C. âIkeyâ Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Douglasville City Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Jamey Greene, Rusty Greene, Mike Greene, Matt Greene, Glen Bolding, and Joey Kilian. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel on Friday, July 29, 2005 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
