Mr. Walter Marcus “Mark” Walker, 57, formerly of Douglasville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the VA Hospital in Birmingham. He was born May 6, 1958 in Forsyth, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Willie Bobby Walker and the late Mrs. Phyllis Burline Phillips Parker. He attended Douglas County High School. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He worked as a painter. He was an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Bobby Walker; his mother, Phyllis Burline Phillips Parker and stepfather, Willie J. Parker; and sister, Deborah Walker Daugherty. He is survived by daughter, Jessica Walker of South Carolina; son, Johnnie Walker of South Carolina; sister and brother-in-law, Sybil Holcomb-Clark and her husband, Cullen of Lithia Springs; two brothers, Tracy Parker of Douglasville and Bryan Parker of Villa Rica; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins also survive.
