Walton Hitchcock

Mr. Walton Eugene Hitchcock, age 79, of the New Georgia community of Dallas, Georgia passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. He was born May 13, 1934 in Paulding County, Georgia the son of the late Mr. William Bennett Hitchcock and the late Mrs. Ruby Estelle Cole Hitchcock. He retired as a supervisor for Simmons Mattress Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Paul Free, Edna and Orin Campbell, Douglas Goldin, Kenneth and Clara Goldin, Carlton and Lily Goldin, Laverne Goldin, Buell White, Hal Goldin, and Harold Hutcheson. He is survived by his wife, Eula Carolyn Goldin Hitchcock of Dallas; daughter, Hollie Willoughby of Villa Rica; son and daughter-in-law, Laney Keith and Sheri Lynn Hitchcock of Dallas; sister, Thelma Free of Villa Rica; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Pat Goldin, Shirley White, Diane and Donald Hamil, Virginia Hutcheson, Shirley Ray Goldin, and Clara Goldin; five grandchildren, Brandi Austin, Shanah Young, Rusty Hitchcock, Corey Mitchell, and Carla Radcliff; ten great-grandchildren, Cole and Lonah Young, Garrett, Ellie, and Bella Austin, Molly Hix, Macie Radcliff, Waylon Hitchcock, Brody Maxwell and Eli Jones. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, July 19, 2013 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Tracy Cole and Rev. Wendell Rush officiating.
