Wanda Cole Davidson

Mrs. Wanda Cole Davidson, age 82, of Temple, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024. She was born October 5, 1942 in Haralson County, GA to the late Mr. Ralph Cole and the late Mrs. Bessie Cole.

A devoted family member, Wanda's world revolved around her faith and loved ones. She was a nurturing presence, always ready to lend a helping hand, particularly in her role as a caregiver to both family and friends. Wanda had a profound appreciation for nature, often spending time tending to her garden. The fall season held a special place in her heart, as did the cherished traditions of gathering with family, particularly during the festive Christmas holidays. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and welcome, filled with laughter and cherished memories. Her dedication extended beyond her family into her beloved church community, where she was a shining example of selflessness. Wanda made meals for pastors and took exceptional care of her church family, embodying the spirit of fellowship and service. As a member of the choir, she shared her love of music with her congregation.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Brian Davidson; brothers, Jerry Cole, Kenneth Cole; sisters, Betina Garner, Peggy Rodgers and Patsy Blackmon.

She is survived by her husband, James “Owen” Davidson; daughters, Sheila Pecce of Columbia, TN, Stephanie (Keith) White of Temple; grandchildren, Brook Davison, Erika Pecce, Elizabeth (Lanier) Blackie, Louie Pecce, Jessica Pecce, Franklin White and Jason White; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Flowers are accepted; however contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Villa Rica Celebration Choir.

The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church of Villa Rica on Sunday October 20, 2024 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. The memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM with Dr. Kevin Williams, Rev. Danny West and Dr. John Pennington officiating. Private inurnment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica at a later date.
