Wanda Renae Evers

Mrs. Wanda Renae Evers, age 64 of Temple, Georgia passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021. She was born September 16, 1956 in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Edward "Buddy" Hilton Harper and the late Mrs. Barbara Turkett Harper. Mrs. Evers worked for ASD logistics in Atlanta as an office manager for 6 years, where she was a very hard worker. She loved her family very much and had a heart of gold. She loved animals, especially boxers, playing poker, going to craft shows, and going to St. George Island Beach. She was an aspiring race car driver, "she enjoyed driving fast." Mrs. Evers is survived by her loyal husband of 44 years, Mr. Herman "Doug" Douglas Evers of Temple, Georgia; daughter and son-in-law, Erin Nichole and Jim Ramsdell of Hiram, Georgia; sisters and brothers-in-laws, Vicki Lynn and Kenneth Harris of Clearwater, Florida, Sandra and Ricky Simmons of Douglasville, Georgia, Sharon Goodwin of Villa Rica, Georgia; three grandchildren, Parker Ramsdell, Skylar Ramsdell, Delaney Ramsdell; nieces and nephews, Chasity Simmons of Douglasville, Georgia, Chad Simmons of Douglasville, Georgia, Chris Harris of Florida, Lauren Johnson of Villa Rica, Georgia, Shelby Brashier of Villa Rica, Georgia, Natosha Meier of Whitesburg, Georgia; great niece, Kaley Simmons of Douglasville, Georgia. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville with Dr. Kevin Williams officiating.
