Wanda Worthan Crowe

Mrs. Wanda Worthan Crowe, age 58, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011 following a brief illness. A native of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, she was born August 19, 1952 the daughter of the late Mr. Charlie Worthan and the late Mrs. Inez Ledford Worthan. She was employed by 84 Lumber Company as a Contractor Salesperson. She was a member of Sunset Hills Baptist Church and was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to everyone she met. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Krista Sikes Johnson and Bret of Douglasville; and Amy Barnes of Newnan; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pamela and Dale Reed of Villa Rica, Seydell and Fred Alexander of Fairmount, Georgia; brothers and sister-in-law Allen and Pat Worthan of Griffin, Doug and Linda Worthan of Douglasville; three grandchildren, Caitlyn, Cara and Kelly, several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Marbut officiating with a eulogy from Rance Henderson. Interment will follow at Douglasville City Cemetery in Douglasville. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Monday, March 14, 2011 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
