Warren Berry

Mr. Warren Lawrence Berry, age 75, of Temple, passed away, Tuesday, July 14, 2015. He was born July 9, 1940 in Palmetto, GA the son of the late Mr. Fred Berry, Sr. and the late Mrs. Christine Brown Berry. Mr. Berry retired from Delta Airlines after 30 years. He was the lead singer of the Temple Gospel Singers. He was a member of New Georgia Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Beth Berry; brothers, Fred Berry, Jr. and Rodney Berry; sisters, Susan Rogers and Jane Patterson.He is survived by his beloved, Becky East of Temple; daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Glen Shropshire of Dallas; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Kristin Berry of Grantville, Brian Berry of Carrollton; stepson and step-daughter-in-law, Larry and Nancy East, Jr. of North Carolina, Jonathan and Theresa East of Tennessee; sisters, Marilyn Campbell of Marietta, Elaine Wheelus of Newnan, and Nancy Copeland of Palmetto; sister-in-law, Nancy Berry of Newnan; eleven grandchildren, Taylor Shropshire of Dallas, Tristan Shropshire of Dallas, Gabrielle Berry of Grantville, Charley Berry of Carrollton, Bailey Berry of Carrollton, Aidan East of North Carolina, Paige East of North Carolina, Wogene East of North Carolina, Eva East of Tennessee, Macy East of Tennessee, and Acheley East of Tennessee; several nieces and nephews also survive.The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, July 17, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the New Georgia Baptist Church Chapel with Dr. Keith Stell officiating. Interment will be Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in College Park.
