Mr. Watson Buchanan, 86, of Buchanan Hwy, Temple, GA passed away, Monday, March 19, 2007 at his home. He was born, April 22, 1920, the son the late Mr. Hiram Buchanan and the late Mrs. Bessie Morris Buchanan. Mr. Buchanan was a farmer and retired from the Paulding County Board of Education as a school bus driver of forty-three years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in WWII as a Military Policeman. He was a member of the Concord Baptist Church in Paulding County. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, J.L. Buchanan and Bennie Buchanan. Survivors include his wife, of sixty-five years, Mrs. Pauline Buchanan of Temple; son, Thomas Dixon Buchanan of Temple; daughter and son-in-law, Doreen and Mike Hannah of Temple; sister, Bonnell Brewer of Dallas; grandchildren, Brian Buchanan, Laura Beth Hannah, and John Hannah. Funeral services will be conducted, Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Concord Baptist Church with Rev. Don Rackley, Rev. Hoyt Lewis, and John Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Concord Cemetery. The Family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
