Wayne A. Hanson

Mr. Wayne Allison Hanson, age 82, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019. He was born March 9, 1937. He was a traffic manager in the logistics industry. Mr. Hanson was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He loved golf and playing poker. Mr. Hanson was of the Catholic faith and a member of the Knights of Columbus. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hanson was preceded in death by his 10 brothers and sisters. Mr. Hanson is survived by his wife, Ann Wisherd Todd Hanson of Lithia Springs; his daughter, Candice Hanson of Douglasville; his daughter and son-in-law, Carmen and Gary Shumate of Douglasville; his stepson, Nathan Todd and his wife, Naomi Sunshine of Powder Springs; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. According to his wishes, Mr. Hanson will be cremated. A funeral Mass will be conducted Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 10:00AM at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1920 Skyview Drive, Lithia Springs, Georgia 30122.
