Mr. Wayne âJuniorâ Hardegree, age 62, of Hammond, LA passed away, Wednesday, November 22, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born December 21, 1954 in Bowdon, GA the son of the late Ms. Mary Guenther. Wayne worked most of his life as a back-hoe operator and a Supervisor in the construction industry. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his children, grandchildren and hunting buddies.In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Wentz and two grandsons, Josiah and Jackson Hardegree. He is survived by his daughter, Kassie Hardegree and his second daughter, Georgia Bice, both of Douglasville, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Jennifer Hardegree of Pensacola, FL.; siblings, Judy Munaco, Jackie Wentz, Johnny Wentz, Anthony Guenther, Diana Murphy, Maxine Smith, JoyceAnn Oldham, Jevona Britt (Gary), William Guenther and Stephen Guenther; grandchildren, Hunter, Wyatt and Conner Hardegree, Taylor Cambron-Earles and Samantha Yeo-Man. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews along with his special friends Mark and Pam Bice.Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 11:00 AM from Callie Harbin Church located at 885 Mann Road, Villa Rica, GA 30180.Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
