Wiley Smith

Wiley Smith, 96 of Lithia Springs, GA passed away, Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at his residence. He was born March 8, 1919 in Hall County, Georgia. He was retired from the North Georgia Timber Company. He was a veteran of WWII, receiving a Purple Heart. He was a member of the County Line Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mamie Moore Smith and his daughter, Helen Pendland Stacey. Survivors include his son-in-law, Norman Hayden Stacey, Sr. of Lithia Springs and 2 grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 5. 2015 from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour. Funeral services will be conducted, Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Interment will be conducted, Friday, November 6, 2015, at 3:00 PM from the Hayesville Cemetery in Hayesville, NC. Messages of condolences may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
