Mrs. Willa Dean Johnson Brant, age 75, of Villa Rica, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013. She was born May 16, 1937 in Tallapoosa, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mrs. Iola Bailey Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of Ephesus Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by brother, Calvin Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Brant of Villa Rica; daughter, Cindy Shoops of Douglasville; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Becky Tuggle of Winston; step daughters and son-in-law, Cindy and Shannon Hancock of Carrollton, Dee Gibson of Carrollton; sisters-in-law, Carol and Fred Lesser of New Jersey, Jan and Richard Schappert of Florida; brother-in-law, Ken Brant of New Jersey; nine grandchildren, Jared Shoops of Douglasville, Charlotte Tuggle of Winston, Natalie Tuggle of Winston, Lauren and Clayton Whitaker of Panama City, FL, Katie and Chuck Jones of Bremen, Rachel Hancock of Carrollton, Richie Gibson of Ephesus, Ronnie Gibson of Ephesus and Chas Gibson of Ephesus; one great-grandchild, Wyatt James Whitaker of Panama City, FL. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Dr. Billy Godwin officiating. Interment will follow in Ephesus Cemetery in Villa Rica. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
