Willard Maxwell Davidson

Willard Davidson Mr. Willard Maxwell Davidson, age 84, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2010, at Wellstar Douglas Hospital in Douglasville. He was born June 11, 1926, the son of the late Rev. Lewis Marion Davidson and the late Mrs. Gertrude Sullivan Davidson. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in Germany during WWII during the European Theater. He was a security officer during the Nuremburg Trials. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Lindsey Davidson; son, Marty Davidson, and five deceased brothers. He is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Jenny and Bill Wickham of Jonesboro, Margy Davidson of Carrollton; sons and daughters-in-law, Max and Pam Davidson of Carrollton, Michael and Arlene Davidson of Carrollton; sister, Allegra Johns of Phoenix, AZ; five grandchildren, Meredith and Florin Lung, Mandy and Denny Dunaway, Corey and Meghan Davidson, Marcie and Chris Calhoun, Tommy and Nicole Ridley; one great-grandchild, Cole Maxwell Davidson. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica with Rev. Jerry Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the Concord Cemetery in the Hickory Level Community. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica, Tuesday, August 24, 2010 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.joneswynn.com.
