Willard R. Wilson

Mr. Willard R. Wilson, age 80, of Sharpsburg, Georgia passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Harbor Grace Hospice in Atlanta. He was born December 25, 1930 in Vanndale, Arkansas, the son of the late Mr. William Miles Wilson and the late Mrs. Gracie Lee Winkles Wilson. He was Baptist by faith and retired as an Aluminum Extrusion Manager from William L. Bonnell Ethyl Corporation. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ann Ross Wilson of Sharpsburg; daughters, Shelly Jo Wilson and Julie Ann Lewis both of Lithia Springs; step mother, Lucille Wilson of Michigan; five sisters; six brothers; one grandchild, Aaron Cody Lewis of Lithia Springs; one great-grandchild, Nathan Cody Lewis; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Pastor Mary Ruth Davidson officiating and Aaron Lewis providing a eulogy. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel Saturday, April 23, 2011 from 1:30 PM until the funeral hour.
