Willard P. Wilkerson

Willard P. Wilkerson, 83, of Lithia Springs, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025. He was born on July 15, 1941, the son of the late Preston Wilkerson and the late Jewell Powell Wilkerson.

Willard was married to the love of his life Shirley for sixty-three years. He adored his wife and family, and cherished every moment spent with them. He was a veteran of the US Army where he proudly served his country. He had a passion for fishing and shooting guns.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Shirley A. Wilkerson; brothers, George Wilkerson and Robert Wilkerson; sisters, Opal Wilkerson and Ruth Teems.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Tony Hubbard of Winston; grand-daughter, Elizabeth Hubbard; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Douglas Chapel from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Entombment services will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at 1:30 PM.

Willard P. Wilkerson will be missed deeply by his family and friends, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
