William Barker

Mr. William Allen Barker, age 83, of McCaysville, Georgia formerly of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Friday, February 16, 2018. He was born January 10, 1935 in Atlanta, Georgia the son of the late Mr. William Dewey Barker and the late Mrs. Margaret E. Partain Barker. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. HE retired as a steel worker machinist. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Mae Pruitt Barker. He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, David Alan and Millie Barker of McCaysville and William Buel and Brenda Barker of Savannah; daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Stephen McManners of Douglasville and Betty and Aaron Clark of Winston; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Visitation at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM.
