William "Bill" Edward Brown

William Edward Brown, affectionally known as Bill, 63, of Villa Rica, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. He was born on October 8, 1961, the son of the late Clinton C. Brown and the late Betty Lou Richardson Brown.

Bill leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication that touched the hearts of many in his life. He was a man who cherished his family and his church community unconditionally. He had a strong work ethic that exemplified his belief in the importance of diligence and responsibility. Friends and family alike remember him as a very giving person, always willing to lend a hand or offer support whenever needed.

Beyond his commitment to family and work, Bill had a deep passion for the great outdoors. He loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed following college and professional football, proudly supporting Ole Miss and the New Orleans Saints, often gathering with friends to cheer for his teams.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Clinton Dale Brown; sister, Deborah Ann Brown Pridgen.

He is survived by his loving wife, Joy Brown; daughters, Michelle Brown of Columbia, MS, and Barbara Ann Brown of Jackson, MS; sisters, Cynthia McAlpin (Larry) of Crystal Springs, MS and Dana Brown Bowman (Ben) of Brookhaven, MS; brother, Milton Brown of Crystal Springs, MS; sister-in-law, Lydia Prather (Ronald) of Villa Rica; numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 24, 2025 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel with the funeral service at 3:00 PM. Interment will follow at Glenn Memorial Park in Villa Rica.

Bill will be fondly remembered for his unwavering love for those around him and his ability to bring people together. His spirit will live on in the memories he created and in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know him.
