William Bonnie "Buster" Bowen

Mr. William “Buster” Bowen, 55, of Atlanta, Georgia passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2007 after an extended battle with cancer. He was born November 18, 1951 in Atlanta, Georgia. He worked in the construction industry as a carpenter. He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Bowen; his mother, Mary Virginia Burnette Gillham; a brother, Mike Bowen; and a sister, Gwendolyn Meers. Survivors include his sons and daughter in-law, David Shon and Jill Bowen of Gainesville; Payton Casey Bowen of Murrayville; and Christopher Lee Bowen of Altoona; sister, Pamela McWilliams of Stockbridge; brother and sister in-law, Stephen and Debbie Bowen of Golden Corner, South Carolina; and four grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at 2:00PM from New Hope Methodist Cemetery in Between, Georgia with Rev. Barry Peppers officiating.
