William Churchill Kelly

Mr. William Churchill Kelly, 69, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, July 11, 2005 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital following an extended illness. He was born March 20, 1936 in Corbin, Kentucky the son of the late Mr. Charles Kelly and Mrs. Dessie Parker Kelly. He was a member of West Atlanta Holiness Pentecostal Church. He retired in 1985 from General Electric as a supervisor after 32 years of service. For 20 years he served in the Louisville, KY operations of General Electric. He owned and operated Kelly Professional Carpet Care for 20 years. He was a devoted Christian and a loving and gentle man. He was cherished by his family and friends and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth Hannah Kelly of Douglasville; two daughters and son-in-law, Alicia Boston of Douglasville and Theresa and Maynor Rosales of Gainesville, FL; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Mary Theus of Gainesville, FL and Robert and Kathy Theus of Gainesville, FL; one sister, Wilma Jean Kelly Pate of Louisville, KY; one brother, Robert D. Kelly of Elizabethtown, KY; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, July 15, 2005 at 11:00 AM from Williams - Thomas Funeral Home in Gainesville, FL with interment following at Evergreen Cemetery.
