William Clifton Holmes

Mr. William Clifton Holmes, age 69 of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2020. He was born October 17, 1950 in Atlanta, Georgia the son of the late, Rev. Jack E. Holmes and the late Mrs. Nora Mae Jeanette Skinner Holmes. Mr. Holmes was an Army Veteran and proudly served our country. He loved hunting, fishing and racing cars on dirt traces. Mr. Holmes enjoyed taking the family to race tracks and to the Braves Games. He loved taking the family to Cedar Groves Lake and spend the weekend there fishing. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Joseph and Michael Holmes; sister, Annette Holmes. Mr. Holmes is survived by his wife, Tammy Holmes of Villa Rica, Georgia; daughters and sons-in-laws, Sonya and John Decker of Temple, Georgia, Tiffany and Brian Eskew of Douglasville, Georgia, Kandell, April, Michelle, and Mellinda; sons and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Maggie Jones of Villa Rica, Georgia, Jack Jones of Villa Rica, Georgia; brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Wanda Holmes of Powder Springs, Georgia; twenty grandchildren; one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews also survive.
