William Felton Britt

Mr. William Felton Britt, age 56, of Crabapple Trail, Dallas, in the New Georgia community, passed away suddenly Sunday, November 8, 2009 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born April 30, 1953 in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. W. D. Billy Britt and Mrs. Gladys Alexander Britt. Mr. Britt worked as a journeyman plumber by trade for 30 years, was a member of Local #72, was a Mason and an avid beagler, being a member and having held several offices of the Atlanta Beagle Club and the Kennesaw Beagle Club. Survivors include his loving wife of nearly 34 years, Mrs. Joy Tidwell Britt of Dallas; his mother, Gladys Alexander Britt of Temple; his brothers and sister-in-law, Dell and Nancy Britt of Temple and Sammy Britt of High Falls; his mother-in-law, Jane Rice Tidwell of Powder Springs; his father-in-law and his wife, Arnold and Tanya Tidwell of Sharpsburg; his sister-in-law and her husband, Pam and Lee Enloe of Auburn, Alabama; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Craig & Flori Williams and Gene and Sara Williams; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, especially Rick Alexander of Villa Rica; and his pug, Punkin also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 1:00PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Minister Alan Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Melrose Hills Memorial Park in Paulding County, Georgia.
