William Frank McPherson, Jr.

Mr. William Frank McPherson, Jr., 63, of Temple, Georgia passed away after a two-year battle with cancer, Thursday, May 25, 2006 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Austell, Georgia. He was born November 3, 1942 in Portsmouth, Virginia. He was the son of Mr. William Frank McPherson, Sr. and the late Mrs. Nadine Grace Silvey McPherson. Mr. McPherson was a member of Utopia Baptist Church. He retired from the sheet metal, metal fabrication industry as a metal worker. In addition to his mother, Mr. McPherson was preceded in death by his sister, Imodell McPherson. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Polly Ann Edwards McPherson; his daughters, Carla Ray and Sheila Cornell; his sons, William Frank McPherson, III and John Edward McPherson; his father, William Frank McPherson, Sr.; his sister, Robyn Graves; two grandchildren, Brittany Ray and Kimberly Ray; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 27, 2006 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Brother Chad Long officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Villa Rica, Georgia.
