William Jefferson "Jeff" Turner, III

Mr. William Jefferson "Jeff" Turner, III, age 54 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020. He was born March 25, 1966 in Tampa, Florida, the son of Mr. William Jefferson Turner, Jr. and Mrs. Jane York Turner. Mr. Turner was of the Christian faith. He was a graduate of Millbrook High School in Raleigh, NC and Atlantic Christian College (now Barton) in Wilson, NC. He was a member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. He enjoyed time on the water, both the beach and the lake. He was a green thumb who took pleasure in growing and shaping plants, and he was a history buff and avid fan of the History Channel. He is preceded in death by his wife, Kandi Kyte Turner and father-in-law Jeff Kyte. Mr. Turner is survived by sons, Jordan Grant Turner and Jacob Lawrence Turner of Douglasville, Georgia; parents, William and Jane Turner of Jacksonville, Florida; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pam and Larry Brauda of Jacksonville, Florida; Laura and Billy Jackson of Milton, Florida; Julie and Wendell Riley of Douglasville, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by in-laws Sonya Kyte, Karen and Tom Davis and sisters-in-law Krystal Kyte and Keri Kyte. According to Mr. Turner's wishes, he was cremated. No services are planned at this time.
