William Joseph Willis, Jr.

Mr. William Joseph Willis, Jr., 67, of Bar J Road, Temple, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at his home. Mr. Willis was born August 1, 1940 in Newnan, Georgia; the son of the late William Joseph Willis, Sr. and the late Eddie Jewel Rogers Willis. Mr. Willis was employed as a long line specialist for AT&T, having worked there for over thirty years and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. On May 16, 1977, he married Patricia Chatham Willis. In addition to his wife, survivors include his daughter and son in-law, Noelle Willis and Christopher Wheeless of Whitesburg; son, Jonathan Stephen Willis of Temple; sister, Carolyn Mullikin of Canton; brothers and sister in-law, Gerald Willis of Cumming, and Roy and Sheryl Willis of Marietta; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Georgia with Pastor Shane Roberson and Pastor Doug New officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica Thursday, December 6, 2007 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
