William Jessie King, Jr., 73, was born on September 23, 1950, in New York, New York, to the late Mr. William Jessie King, Sr., and the late Mrs. Margaret Felder King.
William had a passion for building things with his hands. His educational journey led him to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts. William's family and friends always admired his strong work ethic and caring nature. Aside from his work and caring nature, William possessed a deep love for the outdoors. As an exercise fanatic, he could often be found enjoying nature's beauty while engaging in various outdoor activities.
One cannot speak about William's accomplishments without mentioning his proudest achievements. For 27 years, he dedicated himself to raising Dobermans and found immense joy in their companionship. His natural ability to connect with animals showcased his compassionate heart.
William also ventured into the realm of literature as a published author and poet. He fearlessly poured his soul into his works, providing readers with unique insights into his own life experiences. His novels were testaments to the resilience of human spirit and offered readers an opportunity to reflect on their own journeys. William was a remarkable individual whose life was marked by hard work, strength, tenderness, and care.
In addition to his parents, William is preceded in death by his brothers, J.P. and Milton King.
William is survived by his loving wife of over 20 years, Tarja Lajunen-King; brothers, Donald (Adrienne) King and Oliver King; sisters, Diane Payne and Suzie King.
