William Joseph Martin, Jr.

William Joseph Martin, Jr., 90, passed away on January 1, 2023 at his residence.  He was born on December 14, 1932, in New York City.  He is the son of the late William Martin, Sr., and the late Arabell Nelson Martin.

Joe was of the Catholic faith and worked as a saxon for many years. He loved to read, play chess and watch mystery movies.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James Martin and his sister Dorothy Falson. He is survived by his sisters, Gloria Sims of Powder Springs and Mary Harris of Powder Springs; several nieces and nephews also survive.

In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated.  The family will plan a celebration of life at a later date.
