William Mayfield

Mr. William Eugene Mayfield, age 82, of Villa Rica, passed away, Wednesday, May 29, 2019. He was born June 12, 1936 in Carroll County, the son of the late Mr. Leonard Oscar Mayfield and the late Mrs. Hattie May Daniell Mayfield. Mr. Mayfield owned and operated Mayfield Wrecker Service and Garage since 1976. He was long time member of Powell Chapel United Methodist Church.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Oscar Mayfield, Edward Mayfield, and Clifford Mayfield; sister, Doris MayfieldHe is survived by his wife of 62 years, Janette Eillen Williams Mayfield of Villa Rica; son, Randy Mayfield of Villa Rica; sister, Mary Emily Mayfield Nations of Hiram; eight grandchildren, Cody Mayfield, Colt and Heather Mayfield, Chase Mayfield, Savannah Mayfield, Natashia Mayfield, Emily Mayfield, Byron Mayfield, and Trevor Mayfield; the boy’s mother, Michelle Floyd; six great grandchildren, Chyenne Mayfield, Cohen Mayfield, Cayden Mayfield, Cassidy Mayfield, Cash Mayfield and Case Mayfield; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Friday, May 31, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Long officiating.
