Steve MooreMr. William Steve Moore, 63, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014. He was born October 1, 1950 in Atlanta, Georgia the son of the late Mr. William Terrell Moore and the late Mrs. Effie Herrin Moore. He married Sally Wright on November 24, 1971 in Austell. He worked as a machinist at Voith in Austell. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying camping and woodworking. He enjoyed watching NASCAR with his friends. He was a devoted family man who loved spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Timmy Moore; sister, Pam Sheats; and nieces, Lisa Johnson and Lori Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sally Wright Moore of Douglasville; one son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Marna Moore of Newnan; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Ronnie Gothard of Jemison, AL; brother and sister-in-law, Garey and Joan Moore of Tennessee; two grandchildren, Morgan Moore and Donnie Moore; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Tuesday, April 29, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Pastor Brian Buchanan and Jimmy Wright officiating.
