William Jessie Morris, Jr., 74, of Carrollton, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024. He was born on February 5, 1950, the son of the late William Jesse Morris and the late Evelyn Rowell.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Dianne Edenfield Morris; children, Robert Morris, Keith Morris and Daniel (Tanya) Morris all of Griffin, Crystal Dunkle of Carrollton and Jessica Morris of Atlanta; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Ricky Vanderhoot of Cedartown; brothers and sister-in-law, Mark Yeoman of Cedartown and Ben and Anita Yeoman of Rockmart; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

 William was a devoted family man, who took exceptional care of those he loved. He spent an impressive thirty years working with the railroad. His colleagues and friends admired him for his unwavering work ethic and the integrity he brought to his job each day.

William was known not only for his commitment to work but also for his love of animals. His gentle spirit extended to all animals. Furthermore, he found pure joy in the great outdoors, relishing every opportunity to embrace being outside.

In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.

As the memories of William Jessie Morris, Jr. continue to resonate with his family and friends, they will cherish lasting memories they spent with him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
