William Neal Mitchell

Mr. William Neal Mitchell, age 77, of Douglasville, Georgia formerly of Barnesville, GA and Sacramento, CA passed away Sunday, November 15, 2009. He was born September 7, 1932 in Pittsburg, PA. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Barnesville, Georgia. He worked as a field representative for the California Attorney General’s Office. He was a nature lover and enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and traveling. He was preceded in death by his stepson, Bobby Jordan Barker. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Kathryn Jordan Mitchell of Douglasville, GA; two daughters, Rhonda Mitchell of Ontario, CA and Renee Mitchell of Folsom, CA; two sons, William N. Mitchell, Jr. of Ontario, CA and David Mitchell of Sacramento, CA; and eight grandchildren also survive. Memorial Gathering for all family and friends will be conducted Saturday, November 21, 2009 beginning at 10:00 AM at the home of Frances and Noel Riggins.
