Mr. William Clarence Pruiett, Sr., 96, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Monday, February 17, 2014 at his home. He was born January 19, 1918 in Hickory Flat, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Gussie Lee Pruiett and the late Mrs. Lemmer Viola Crowe Pruiett. He retired as a tool and die machinist from M.A. Ferst Limited and The Murray Company. He was an inventor. He was a Mason for over 70 years at The Leroy Duncan Lodge. He was a member of Word of Life Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Fannie Lee Pruiett; children, Bennie Pruiett, James âJPâ Pruiett, and Sandra Marie Wimbish; two grandchildren, Richard Clarence Pruiett and Danny Eugene McKenzie Jr.; and all of his brothers and sisters. He is survived by six daughters and sons-in-law, Anita Kilpatrick of Marietta, Charlotte Baxter of Powder Springs, Carolyn Beard of Carrollton, Barbara and Danny McKenzie of Villa Rica, Bonnie and Carl Bribiesca of Dallas, and Linda Gail Faulkner of Carnesville; son and daughter-in-law, W.C. Pruiett, Jr. and his wife, Vickie of Acworth; daughter-in-law, Pam Pruiett of Marietta; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville, Tuesday, February 18, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Clay Pawley officiating. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs. The following will serve as pallbearers: Deran Baxter, Scott McKenzie, Doug Faulkner, Jr., Brad Pruiett, J.R.
